Wellington Zoo is working with iconic local Wellington businesses Garage Project and Trade Me in an exciting new partnership – Zoo Brew, set to launch 22 November.
“Zoo Brew is a unique collaboration conceived to raise funds for Wellington Zoo Trust,” says Partnerships Manager Alicia Harris.
“Wellington Zoo is a not for profit charitable trust, and all monies raised from the event will go directly back into the Zoo to help us to continue our work around local and global conservation and world class animal care.”
The brew, made with Pale malt, Sorghum and South African Rooibus tea, was inspired by Wellington Zoo’s Cheetah brothers, Cango and Kunjuka.
Trade Me will support the project with a series of ‘cool auctions’ featuring original and limited edition artwork from local artist Seraphine Pick. These auctions will also include the opportunity to have a Close Encounter with Cango and Kunjuka at the Zoo.
