Wednesday, 5 & Thursday, 6 April

9am - 3.30pm

For the first time, the Zoo's global and local conservation partners will be joining us to speak at Wild Ideas, a conservation symposium on April 5 and 6 at the Paramount Theatre in Wellington!

We'll be welcoming representatives from 21st Century Tiger; Madagascar Fauna and Flora Group; Golden Lion Tamarin Association; Cheetah Outreach; Fauna & Flora International - Vietnam Programme; Free the Bears; Proyecto Titi; Red Panda Network; Traffic Southeast Asia; Kea Conservation Trust; Jane Goodall Institute New Zealand, Save the Tasmanian Devil Program and our New Zealand partners to showcase the big steps we’re collectively taking for global change.

You’ll leave with new know-how and knowledge to help take simple steps in your own life – so together, we can help our wildlife to thrive.

We want to say thank you to the Wellington community for their ongoing support by giving free entry to the 110th visitor coming through our front doors every day for the next year!
Our dedicated Zoo Crew members who are able to visit the Zoo for free every day will also be in luck, securing a free pass to bring a friend with them. But our birthday won’t stop there, with big celebrations planned for the summer holidays later this year - watch this space!

More information:
Free Zoo entry will apply to the 110th person entering through the Zoo’s front entrance each day as determined by Wellington Zoo from 21 April 2016 until 20 April 2017. Entries to the Zoo via Mojo Café entrance will not be eligible.
Zoo Crew members are eligible to win a single day pass for a friend.
