We’re Celebrating Conservation Week!

On the 21st and 22nd of September, we will be holding some special activities at the Zoo to celebrate Conservation Week.

Entry for children will be half price on both days - $6 for kids and $27 for adults.

Learn how to create your own beeswax wraps, make a take home planter to encourage bees into your garden and design your own reusable tote bag to reduce plastic waste.

Make sure you visit the Zoo over this weekend to celebrate our beautiful native wildlife!

 

Activity Timetable for Weekend:

10am - Animal Face Painting at The Nest Te Kōhanga

11am - Bubble Party at Meet the Locals He Tuku Aroha

11.30am - Bee Talk in The Barn

12n - Make your own take home planter / Bee activities in The Barn

1pm - Bubble Party at Meet the Locals He Tuku Aroha

1.30pm - Design your own tote bag

2pm - Kororā penguin activity at Penguin Point

 

* Terms and conditions: Half price Child Entry offer is valid only for Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September 2019. Half Price Child entry applies for 3-14-year-olds, entry for under 3-year-olds is free. All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
